Automatic Optical Inpection

CSM Electronics offers to automatically inspect our customer's boards using a DiagnoSYS Scanpoint.  The Scanpoint uses CAD data and a 'golden board' to automatically optically inspect all components for placement, value, correctness, type, colour differences, short circuits and dry joints. 

This is our most cost effective way to inspect all populated boards.

CSM Electronics performs a 100% visual inspection using magnification equipment on all untested or non AOI'd boards

A 10% visual inspection is completed subsequent to AOI/Test
