The 5050sq.ft factory in Staffordshire will facilitate 3 Panasonic production lines with a capacity of placing over 100,000cph from 0603 to BGA. The new facility is due to be operational on 22nd October 2003, the team in Staffordshire will be led by Production Manager Mick Armitt. Mick brings a wealth of knowledge in production management and test, he has joined the CSM team after 8 years working at Celestica. We expect the factory to host a team of approximately 30 employees. CSM has been growing steadily since it was established in 1990. Over the past two years despite the decline of many CEMs, CSM Electronics has thrived on a diverse customer base. We have acquired a component sourcing company, which has been brought in house as a purchasing service for our customers and expanded our factory twice into units equalling 6,600sq.ft. With the additional floor space provided by the factory in Staffordshire, CSM will have a total of over 15,000sq.ft. The use of customer-focused teams during the manufacturing process, and our sales & care approach of 'one point of contact' has enabled CSM to provide our customers with an effective, uncomplicated manufacturing solution. The factories are open from 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and from 8am-1pm Friday. |
