AOI

• Automatic Optical Inspection

Assembly Drawings

• Drawings and instruction of product

BOM

• Bill Of Materials or Parts List  

CAD Data

• File produced by the CAD machine, usually atext file, which lists the X&Y co-ordinates of centers of the components and any rotation.

Conventional Assembly

• Through-hole hand soldered.

Final Assembly

• The casing or box of the final product

Free-issue

• Componets or parts supplied to CSM by the customer

Gerber Files

• Files produed by the CAD machine to enable the PCB to be manufactured.  Contains all teh details for each layer of the PCB.

ICT

• In-Circuit Test

MDA

• Manufacturing Defect Analisys

RFQ

• Request for Quote

Shim

• Stencil for solder paste printing.

Shim Data

• File produced by the CAD machine to enable a shim(stencil) to be manufactured.
