Overview
Peter Lloyd established CSM Electronics Limited in 1990 in order to provide a high quality manufacturing solution for printed circuit board assembly. Serving many diverse industries including, mobility, communications, computer peripherals, medical equipment and satellite products, we provide automatic assembly of PCB's including flex and ceramics, using all types of components from 0201 through to micro BGA.
We feel that our flexibility about existing and prospective customer's needs and our responsive behaviour to their situations has played a key role in our success.
The business has won a Delloite & Touche Technologies fast 50 award for growth in 2002 & 2003. We have acquired a component sourcing company, which has been brought in house as a purchasing service for our customers. We have also expanded our factory in Dorset twice, and opened a second factory in Staffordshire, investing heavily in equipment and staff to support the growth.
CSM Electronics houses 9 Panasonic production lines, which have the capacity to place over 300,000 components per hour, with a total floor space of over 15,000 sq. ft. Electronics Contract manufacturing is supported by the additional services required to provide our customers with a turnkey service.
