The ERSASCOPE IR 550 A has a patented, non contact, infrared sensor for precisely recording the component and PCB temperature non-destructively and reproducibly, for optimal control of the soldering process during rework.
The use of the reflow process camera provides visual information on the exact time of solder melt. Following the process, the intergrated fan cools down the components as pre-selected.
This service and equipment is ideally suited for reworking fine pitched devices, such as BGA's.
Specially trained staff at CSM can use their skills to perform rework by hand, using high heat soldering irons and heat guns.
All work is 100% visually inspected and, if required, X-Rays can be supplied.
