Traceability
Our system for product traceability begins at goods inwards, where all components are counted and each type is labelled and logged onto our MRP system. Free-issue stock and CSM procured stock is differentiated using a part numbering system. RoHS compliant stock is differentiated using a colur coding system.
Every new customer is given their own unique identification number and all parts allocated to their kits accordingly, any kit short falls are advised prior to release to the shop floor.
Any excess kit after the production run is counted back into stores, this stock can be held by CSM for the next production run or can be returned to the customer upon request.
CSM Electronics offers bar code and alpha/numerical serial labelling as an additional service.
